About Us

Coach Natalie:
CFLV 2,  CFWeightlifting, ETP Nutrition

I live in and grew up in Kitsap County. I love the outdoors and everything the North West has to offer to someone who likes nature. On my “free time”, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. We are active and like to hike, SUP, camp, boat and have fun outside!
I was introduced to CrossFit by a friend who loved it. I was fed up with doing the typical routine workouts and felt like I was at a plateau with my progress. I needed something to push me and get me excited to work out again. Then I tried my first CrossFit work out. WOW! It kicked my butt! But I had never felt that way after a work out before, ever! I felt alive and like I was really challenged. I was hooked!
After a few years I decided it was time to share this awesome way of fitness and community with others! I love helping athletes reach their fitness goals and watching people’s bodies and minds transform. Fitness can be fun, rewarding and even life changing if you let it! Our tight knit family is the best part. I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Coach Jared:

I grew up in Kitsap County and was raised with a love for the outdoors. I love spending time with my best friend and wife Natalie. Being active with camping, hiking, mt. biking, lacrosse, lifting weights and any sport involving a board is how we usually spend our “free time”.
After getting bored with the redundancy of lifting weights with the whole chest/tri, back/bi, legs/shoulder routine, I saw a post my friend made about CrossFit. I watched a video and decided I was going to trade my “international chest day” (aka. Monday) in for a CrossFit work out. It was awesome and terrible! The workout was fun, but challenging. I felt pretty out of shape despite my activity level. However, I knew it was something I wanted to continue doing.
Now, the best part of my day is being at the gym and helping people become stronger versions of themselves, and helping them realize what they are capable of. When our athletes leave at the end of the night, I want it to be the best part of their day!

Coach Abe:
CFLV 1, ACE, ACE Nutrition

I moved to Kitsap County back in 2006 to join the Olympic College baseball coaching staff. Over the years I had the opportunity to train & work with athletes from many different sports both at the college & high school levels. Currently I am coaching the JV baseball team at CK high school. I received my BA in physical education from York College in Nebraska while I was playing baseball & have been able to be involved in the fitness industry since moving to Washington. I joined Crossfit in 2018 & soon after received my level 1 certification. I also hold certifications as an ACE personal trainer & nutrition specialist.

Coach Andre:

Originally from Boerne, Texas, I moved to Kitsap county in August of 2019 where I am currently serving in the united states navy. Before joining the navy, I was attending Texas State University full time from 2016 to 2018 where I played as a long stick mid fielder for the men’s Lacrosse team. After two years I opted to continue my education online while in the navy graduating fall of 2020 with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and a certificate in prelaw.
My first introduction to CrossFit was in 2016 while I was still attending Texas State University. Being physically underdeveloped compared to the lacrosse upperclassmen my coach informed me that CrossFit could be a good way to develop athletic strength and performance while in the off season. Following his word, I attended my first WOD at a local CrossFit box and boy did it HURT! Ever since then I was addicted to the sport of CrossFit not only for the overall health and fitness benefits but the competitive side as well. Since then, I aspired to start helping others achieve their goals in the world of CrossFit by earning my L1 certification in 2020 and becoming a coach here at Timberline CrossFit.
Every day I make it a goal of mine for our athletes to walk out our doors knowing that they got everything that they possibly could have out of our workouts and programing in order to help them reach their short and long-term goals in life and the world of CrossFit.

Coach JJ:

I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. After living there for 22
years my job took me to several different areas of the country. I lived in the Kitsap area for a few years, then I left and I enjoyed it
so much that I decided to come back. I enjoy the variety of outdoor activities here, but I also enjoy playing video games and am a nerd for most things marvel. I have 2 beautiful daughters
and they are the lights of my life.
I started my fitness journey playing hockey, and to get stronger I did the standard chest, back, arms and leg day routine. I would routinely plateau then get bored and stop. Then I found a wonderful power lifting gym and learned a lot about what I was doing wrong. Still wanting more, I started doing some weightlifting (clean and jerks and snatches), which I loved and that led me to CrossFit. When I started there were so many things that I couldn’t do, and seeing other people doing them inspired me to continue. The constant variety keeps me intrigued, and challenged. I have been consistently doing CrossFit now for 4 years and am loving my progress
and results and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
As a coach, I love to see others succeed. Each person has their goal or goals they want to accomplish at the gym and it is my mission to help you get there. Most goals aren’t necessarily easy but if you are willing to put in the work, I will help you make sure that it pays off.

What Is HIIT?

Defined by CF founder Greg Glassman, “CrossFit increases work capacity across broad time and modal domains. This is a discovery of great import and has come to motivate our programming and refocus our efforts. This far-reaching increase in work capacity supports our initially stated aims of building a broad, general, and inclusive fitness program”

Fitness provides us the tools and ability to reclaim our bodies through fitness. We do this through guided small group workouts which are constantly varied, performed at high intensity, with movements that are organic and functional.
For us, fitness is not a subjective feeling, but a state of being that is objectively quantifiable through the use of measured workouts and careful record keeping of continual personal achievements.”
